SONGS TO CHILL YOU OUT

For the next two weeks at uni, the majority of us have exams, which are just no fun in the slightest shape or form, no matter how you look at them. Although mine aren't too bad, luckily, it's difficult to avoid being swept up in the panic and nerves that seem to be radiating from everyone you come across, wherever you seem to go. Plus factor in the stress of trying to sort out your house for next year, the occasional wave of homesickness and a lot of over thinking, just to make things even more stressful, and you get me this afternoon, feeling like my head was literally going to explode. I always forget how easily I get stressed out, and I detest the way it makes me feel, because all it does is basically make me feel crap about everything. I have a feeling that it's something to do with my need to feel in control, a fact I only recently figured out, and my excellent over thinking abilities. I don't know if you're like me, or perhaps you're like my sister, who is so chilled about everything that it's highly possible she's a cucumber in disguise (she cool as a cucumber). But either way, right now I've got my headphones on, and I'm doing what I always do in most situations: playing some epic music to help me get into focus and just feel better. So whether you're a recently stressed out mess like me, or nicely relaxed and happy (which is awesome), I'd like to share with you my list of chill-out songs to hopefully just make you feel good about life, as that's a rather wonderful way to feel.

And if you are feeling stressed, from one stressed person to another, I just want to say take a deep breath, close your eyes, shut out the world, count to ten, clear your mind, think of sunshine and blue skies, or the star studded night, go make a caffeine filled beverage and just spend an hour doing something that makes you happy. Trust me, you will feel so much better for it.
