ABOUT ME
Hello dear readers. Welcome to the About Me page, where presumably you have come to found out more about moi. If that is the case, I'm pleased to inform you that you've come to the right place. So with that here goes. My name is Tasha, I'm 20 years old and I live in the beautiful, crazy, amazing city of Manchester (birthplace of Take That), although I'm originally from Derby, Derbyshire, furthest from the sea (woo). I'm in my third year studying Speech and Language Therapy at the University of Manchester, a course I love, with the hopes of becoming a Speech & Language Therapist and making a positive difference to people's lives.
Alongside my studies, I also run this babin' blog and my own online art and design store on Redbubble called Bluboca, for which I create my own digital designs (you can check it out here). I also volunteer at the Stroke Association and will soon be volunteering at UoM's Student Action and with the charity LGBT in Manchester. have previously done numerous radio shows on Fuse FM, been social secretary of the UoM Blog Society and been on the committee for the student led project The Closet, which collaborated with Missguided and raised over £10,000 for the mental health charity Manchester Mind.
In the future, alongside my work as a Speech and Language Therapist, I hope to develop my art, design and writing skills further with the possibility of freelancing on the side. I also want to incorporate my creativity into my job and put it to good use. Positive change and all that. Essentially my aim in life is to be chameleon and do lots of different things I love, because that's what makes me happiest of all. You know what they say, you can't put all your eggs in one basket.

As you can probably tell, I'm quite a creative person and I'm a right sucker for all the many creative outlets like art, illustration, photography, music, fashion, cooking, books, film, magazines, blogging... I also adore tea, stars, being happy, making other people happy, cake (lots of cake), laughing, watching movies, running, travelling, walking around pretty places, cooking, seeing my friends and family, daydreaming, doc martens, travelling, drawing, volunteering, aubergines, Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys... The list goes on (and on, and on, and on).
So with all this love for the world and life and everything in it, I simply had to channel it somewhere, cue the creation of Moustashie in July 2014, in part inspired by my nickname Tash (which just so happens to be synonymous with facial hair). Moustashie has been the first blog which I've stuck at, after many unsuccessful attempts over the years, and it has now become one of the most important things in my life. The whole idea behind Moustashie was that it would be a creative outlet for me to write about whatever takes my fancy, whenever and however I want to, and I adore writing posts to share with you dear readers.
The content on Moustashie is lifestyle focused, and honestly it's like Mary Poppins infinite bag over here because you never quite know what you're going to find next. One minute I'm talking about deoderant, the next I'm trying to figure out my love life, and then I'm giving you a recipe for biscuits. The sky is the limit when it comes to this blog, and that's why I love writing it so much. Over here we do blogging with a twist. So if you're one for unpredictability, with a hint of curiosity for good measure, and you like to be kept on your toes, then my darling friend this just might be the blog for you.
