The Sunday Playlist #6

The Sunday Playlist #6
Today was my last radio show before Christmas on Fuse FM, and naturally I decided that playing Christmas songs was obviously not the thing to do, and that aiming for that 'feelgood' factor clearly was. And that's exactly what I tried to achieve, and I don't know if my listeners got that feeling, but I certainly did. I think it was a combination of things that contributed to me feeling so insanely happy, but one of the main things was definitely the fact that I was sat in the studio, doing one of my favourite things in the world and playing some of my absolute favourite songs which sound incredible on the studio headphones. It didn't really matter that I'd had to walk through the rain and hail to get to the studio, feeling like I was in the above Take That video, nothing could dampen my mood (literally). When I got to the studio my friend who's in before me was playing some Michael Buble, as well as my favourite Chrimbo song 'Fairytale of New York', and after my show I got to one of my best friends-from-home's house where she cooked us roast dinner and crumble OMG OMG OMG. So today has just been a really fantastic day, and my playlist today was the perfect accompaniment, hence why I would love to share it with you!

You can listen to me (ft. blocked nose) here, and hopefully the Sunday Playlist will be back on Fuse FM Sunday 18th January 2015.
