VINCENT DEVINE
This morning whilst I was flicking through my Instagram feed, as you do (cos IG is da best), I came across the most stunning watercolour illustration of Tyra Banks, which had been posted on Instagram by an art account I follow. Reading the corresponding comment lead to me finding out just who this artist was, and it was none other than the fabulously talented Vincent Devine. Vincent is a wonderfully diverse and imaginative watercolour artist whose work incorporates an abstract quality intertwined with the most gorgeous, fluid and serene colours and shapes. However what makes Vincent so incredible is that he was discovered by Tyra Banks on Instagram, after he posted and tagged an illustration he had done of her. Tyra then got in touch with Vincent through her producers, and the long and short of it is that Vincent's artwork was used in America's Next Top Model season 21 and subsequently Vincent is now a fully fledged professional artist and illustrator working for various clients and basically living the dream. How amazing is that?! So well deserved and it just goes to show that if you pursue your dreams, keep striving to develop your talents, never give up hope and keep on persevering (and with a little help from Instagram), you can reach that end goal.
